Insider Property Leaders’ Forum – Making homes affordable
Increasing the stock of affordable housing is high on the government’s agenda, with targets set for housebuilders to develop 300,000 homes a year in England.
At Yorkshire Business Insider’s Property Leaders’ Forum, Head of Residential Development Rosemary Edwards joined a panel of key decision makers to discuss how the industry can meet high levels of demand.
Whilst the Yorkshire residential property market is buoyant, there are some sites that have no affordable housing at all. Rosemary said: “The problem for developers is how they provide affordable housing and how it sits alongside other products.” The article goes on to consider how these issues can be addressed.
This is one of four forums which Shulmans is sponsoring this year.
