Charlotte joined Shulmans as a paralegal in the Corporate Finance department in August 2017 and is due to commence her training contract in September 2018.
Charlotte works within the Corporate Finance team on matters such as shareholders agreements and refinances, however, her work primarily focuses on pharmacy sales and acquisitions. Charlotte is involved in all aspects of transactions, including: managing the due diligence exercise; drafting, negotiating and amending sale contracts, disclosure letters and ancillary documents; arranging and dealing with completions as well as generally advising on legal and commercial issues. Charlotte works closely with other departments within the firm, particularly the Commercial Property team, as well as liaising with clients’ other professional advisors such as accountants and tax advisors.
Charlotte studied History at the University of York before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School in Leeds. Charlotte is currently studying the Legal Practice Course on a part time basis at BPP Leeds.
