Following last years’ success of its workshop on anti-counterfeiting, INTA is hosting an extended version titled ‘Strategy and Collaboration: The Key to Success against the Crime of Counterfeiting’, which will be taking place during its Annual Meeting on 20-24 May 2017 in Barcelona.

This conference will gather over 9,000 professionals specialising in intellectual property; Rob Lucas, Head of IP at Shulmans LLP, will be present at this event.

Rob sits on INTA’s Parallel Imports Committee; this year, Rob was appointed to the organisation’s panel of trademark mediators, and is their only trademark mediator for the North of England.

The Annual Meeting will focus on the following issues:

  • Developing and implementing anti-counterfeiting strategies;
  • Effective law enforcement, including best practices;
  • Obstacles and successes in the delivery of authentic products to consumers.

Shulmans can provide guidance on identifying, securing, protecting and exploiting your IP rights in the UK and overseas. For any further information, visit our website, or contact Rob Lucas on 0113 297 8941 or at rlucas@shulmans.co.uk.

Further information about the Annual Meeting can be found on INTA’s website.
